Rory and Izelle
One of the most unique weddings I ever had the privilege to capture.
I met this spontaneous family with their engagement shoot and experienced so much joy and fun working with them.
Izelle, as a first-time bride, had the privilege to become Wanru and Mandri’s new mommy after their mommy had passed away a year ago. Rory and Izelle Van Kraayenburg’s love story is different in so many ways, which made the day so much more beautiful.
A few months after Rory’s first wife and the mother of their beautiful children had passed away, Izelle came into their lives. They had known each other before as friends, but Rory came to dream of her not only as his wife, but a mother for his two children. Their love story unfolded within a year. A year ago, Izelle could never have imagined herself married and a mother of two. The affection the two children have for Izelle, brought tears to my eyes. She really made her home with them. The family’s love for one another is like something you read about in romantic stories. It was only on the wedding day that I heard the whole story, which made this family’s love even more beautiful. Rory, you found the perfect match. Izelle, you are an example of a great woman.
The wedding day was so emotional, but I can confidently say it was mostly tears of joy. God made this a beautiful story and witnessing it really blessed me. Even in the midst of sadness, you found joy. Your story will always stay close to my heart. This is truly one of the most unique weddings that I ever had the privilege to capture.
